(Waterloo, WI) – The 5th Annual Trek Women Breast Cancer Awareness Ride on October 9th will bring thousands of women – and men – together across the country to have fun, be healthy and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Registration fees will go toward the 2010 fundraising goal of $150,000, and each rider will receive a special gift bag from Trek Women and their local Trek Retailer to commemorate the day.

Strong Start for USA Development Team

Vierzon, France (September 5, 2010) — The USA Cycling National Development Program started off the Tour de l'Avenir as hoped; with a victory in the opening prologue. Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo./Trek-LIVESTRONG) won the 7.8-kilometer prologue of Tour of the Future in a time of 8:55 over Alex Dowsett of Great Britain.

She had never won a world title; this season she hadn’t even managed a victory in a World Cup race. Anton Hangs Onto Red as David Lopez Grabs Stage Win

Today’s ninth stage was one that could honestly be called a mountains stage, the route featured a total of seven category two and three ranked climbs, leading up to an un-ranked 1.5 km climb up to the finish line. Would the day belong to a climbing specialist or would a break away steal the win? Three riders have abandoned the race today. Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre), Freddy Bichot (Bbox) and Mickael Delage.

Fifteen National Masters Titles Awarded at Nationals Friday

Frisco, Texas — Fifteen more national titles were awarded on day three of the 2010 Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships. The Superdrome in Frisco, Texas played host to various time trial, points race and sprint national championship match-ups on Friday.
