Rob Jensen Named Director of Team

Pescadero, CA – Linda Jackson, Founder of the TIBCO Women’s Professional Cycling Team, announced today the formation of a new junior women’s cycling team, to be mentored by members of the TIBCO/To the Top professional team. Rob Jensen, a Northern California-based junior cycling coach, will direct the new team.

Tyler Farrar Bests Fernandez and Cavendish

198.8 kilometers faced the riders today and all expectations were for a bunch sprint to decided the winner, however this edition of the Vuelta has been anything but normal. While labeled a flat stage the route certainly had its' fair share of up and down.

Richardson Bike Mart Masters Track Nationals Underway Wednesday

250 Riders Expected

Frisco, Texas (Aug. 31, 2010) - The Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships will go off September 1-5 at the Superdome in Frisco, Texas. The two- and -three kilometer time trial events will kick things off on Wednesday. In all more than 250 masters track athletes will compete for the right to wear the Stars-and-Stripes signifying the country's best. 

For more information and to view a complete schedule of the event, visit the Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships webpage. Competition gets underway at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. If you’re unable to make it to the event, be sure to log on to www.usacycling.org at the end of each day for a full report of all the action.
